Examples:

Après Un Rêve (Faure): CWMN example with performance data. Measures are mapped to time ranges with cursor motion. The first few measures of the vocal line are also mapped at the level of individual notes and events (click notes to play).
Jewish Cantillation: Non-CWMN, non-European example with audio media and inline SVG. Time range highlighting is employed instead of cursor motion, except for the last verse which shows right-to-left motion.
Symphony No. 2 (Lutosławski): This 20th century non-CWMN example employs aleatoric techniques and shows the need for flexibility in mapping regions to time or events. The parts progress and repeat in an unsynchronized fashion, and visual regions are played multiple times at differing speeds.
